Ever since we were little, our mom would take us to this very special street where every apartment had a stoop. Our mom has a thing for stoops because when she was little she always wanted to be stoop girl, the girl who sits on her stoop, people watching all day on a gorgeous Manhattan block. She was never that girl, but would pretend she was when she came to this street, and she would have us take a picture of her sitting on the stoop each and every time we came. So now, we both take part in this tradition and sit on the very same stoop as our mother and take a picture as if we are stoop kids living in this very apartment. We can now pass this down to our children, it's now our thing :)
