Halloween in New York City is very different from Halloween in a suburban town or a smaller city. Every year we pick our pumpkins from a flower shop down the street from us if we are in the city. If we are on Long Island, we head over to a normal farm and pick our pumpkins with the rest of the little kiddies. This year before we parted each other, we made sure to do it the NYC way and hit up our local flower stand on the corner from where we live. Of course when we parted ways, we both ended up doing our own pumpkin picking in our own cities, but this was a fun and memorable sisterly bond.
